UCLA Symposium in Honour of Professor Mladen Vucetic

Professor Mladen Vucetic, who started his studies, and his life, in Zagreb, after 30 years of research and teaching at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), is retiring from University, and this year’s GeoExpo hosted jointly by the  UCLA CalGeo student chapter at UCLA and UCLA, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is a special event in honor of Professor Mladen Vucetic. The program includes a distinguished lineup of speakers in soil dynamics and earthquake engineering, all of whom are connected to Professor Vucetic as former students, mentors, or collaborators: Professor Ricardo Dobry, Professor Kennet H. Stokoe, Professor Mark Tufenkjian, Professor Giuseppe Lanzo, and dr. Neven Matasovic. More on the symposium >>>
