Soils and Foundations
“The Japanese Geotechnical Society (JGS) is pleased to announce that the 2015 Impact Factor for Soils and Foundations (S&F) has increased to 1.238 according to Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports 2016. S&F is the official journal of JGS. S&F has been available online via ScienceDirect since the February 2012 issue in partnership with Elsevier.
“S&F launched a new type of article, called the ‘Geo-disaster Report’, in October of 2015. The geo-disasters caused by the 2015 Gorkha Nepal earthquake and the 2015 heavy rain in Japan have been reported as open access in S&F, and the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake-induced geo-disaster in Japan will be reported soon.
“The accepted articles will be freely available after a 12-month embargo period. Only subscribers can access the full text of all articles immediately after they are published in ScienceDirect.
The online subscription fee is 8,000 JPY (~71 USD)/year.
“We sincerely invite you to submit your next paper to our S&F, and to subscribe the recently published volume in ScienceDirect (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/00380806). Please see the details in the attached letter which was extended edition of Journal News, ISSMGE Bulletin, Vo.10, Issue 6, page 18, December 2016.
